The anxiety of snorkeling deeper
The anxiety of Snorkeling deeper and deeper

For years, I avoided these feelings… and for years, I avoided the life I was meant to live. 😶‍🌫️

But then I hit a breaking point—the hunger for adventure grew stronger than the fear. The years that followed? Not easy. But hands down, the best years of my life.

Then I discovered something: I have thalassophobia—the fear of deep waters. 🌊 Not exactly ideal for someone who loves underwater adventures and dreams of mastering Underwater Videography, right? 🎥🤿

But the ocean didn’t care. These adventures forced me to face my fears and push my limits further than I ever thought possible. Way beyond what my comfort zone had planned for me.

The System That "cured" my Fear of Snorkeling

Happy Andre
Happy ME :)

Somewhere along the way, I unconsciously created a system—one that helped me inch past fear of Snorkeling, step by step.

I believe my brain had two options:

🧠 Option 1: "Let’s figure out how to manage these anxieties, or this lunatic is going to get us both killed."

💩 Option 2: "Let’s make him panic so hard he shits himself in public and never dares to explore again."

Thankfully, my brain went with Option 1. 🎉

And so, bit by bit, I expanded my Adventurer's Limits:

🤿👉 Snorkeling in shallow waters

🤿👉 Snorkeling in the open ocean

🌊👉 Freediving up to 14 meters deep

🐠👉 Scuba diving at 14 meters

🤿👉 Scuba diving at 40 meters—at night 🌑 (because why not, right?)

🌊👉 Freediving up to 21 meters deep

👉 Capturing epic Underwater Videography while exploring wrecks, reefs, and marine life 🎥🐡👉 …And beyond!

here is a more detailed explanation on how you can use this system yourself:

Now, It’s Your Turn

Fear will always be there. But so will adventure. And trust me—adventure is worth it.

Now it’s your turn to expand your adventure horizons and go beyond.

As The North Face says: "Never Stop Exploring." ⛰️

I hope it was helpful.

Happy Explorations.
